Organized Home: Letter box

I am big fan of snail mail so I receive bunch of letters, postcards and packages every week.. I don't like to read them immediately.. I like to read it when I've finished with everything I have to do that day.. I make myself cup of tea, sit in my favorite chair, and start reading how's life going on with my penpals..
So, my problem is - I don't have any nice place to put my letters when I receive them, or after I read them. So, I was looking around Pinterest and I found some interesting ideas.

 source: pinterest
Look how great it is.. I can even separate my letters, cards and postcards any way I want. It's so simple and it looks so easy to make!

source: pinterest
This one is bigger and more practical, because I can put bigger packages inside. It also seems easy to make.. BUT, I am not creative at all and I don't know how would I make this! Any advices?

 source: Pinterest
Look at this! Small mailbox for the house! Cutest thing ever.. I even like the color, but I would like it more if it looked more vintage..

I don't have enough place in my apartment to put something like this, but I had to share this with you! It's such a neat idea!

So many nice ideas, and I don't know how to make any of this! Do you maybe have some simple idea for me? Where to keep my letters before I open them or before I answer to them?

And do you like snail mail? When was the last time when you send handwritten letter to someone?

Better Person, Better Life: What are the achievements you are most proud of?

WHAT ARE THE ACHIEVEMENTS YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF?

Finishing college? Your kids? Having your own business? Or something else?

Is it easy for you to remember what your best achievements in life are or do you have hard time thinking about them? I hope that you all have something that you're proud of. If you don't have it, I guess you're life is not heading the way you want it, and you have to change that ASAP.

I always wanted to change the world. Not stop the war, cure cancer or something like that. I wanted to help people living better life. I always wanted to make people happier. When I was younger, I often put myself to sleep by imagining that I am extremely rich and that I am spending my money on buying things for poor families. Unfortunately, that's not gonna happen, so I am really hoping that some day, some of my words will touch people who will need that, make them change their life and become better and happier person. If that ever happens, that will be that one special achievement I am the most proud of.

Life is like a coin. You can spend it any way you wish, but you only spend it once.

Randomness Wednesday: London!

Since I started with this kind of posts, lets continue..

In April we were in London. Just for few days, but it was amazing. That town is so beautiful and I would really love to go there again..
Just look at this amazing photos:
Some of the buildings in London are really spectacular, like Tower Bridge. It looks so amazing!
This is one of my favorite pictures. It was so nice, laying on the grass, looking at London Eye...  Ok, now I desperately want to go there again!
I love this photo.. It was wonderful weather and everyone was siting in park, drinking, eating, talking, reading.. It was so lovely!
Look at the clear sky!! We had the perfect weather. It was warm and sunny. Lots of people were even walking around in their summer clothes. That was funny to see.
And how cool are they? :)
Isn't she the cutest one?? They were all around and they wouldn't even run when you come closer to them. Awwww, I wish I have one of these at home :)

So, that was some pieces of my London adventure..

Do you have some favorite city you've visited or want to visit?

Organized Home, Organized You: Clean your makeup drawer!

I love make up and I love to buy and try new stuff. That's why my makeup drawer is always such a mess. There's too much make up and I really don't have enough place to keep them in order.

You don't need glasses to see that my desk is full of everything - letters, paper, stickers and other stuff.. I just don't have such a big apartment to have two desks, so my make up obsession have to share desk with my penpalling obsession.  That wouldn't be a problem if my desk tidy, and this is everything BUT! Let's change that!

If you're one of the people that only have some basic make up, then good for you and you don't have to read my post! But, if your makeup drawer is messy too, then listen to few simple tips.

1. It doesn't have to be makeup drawer, maybe you have desk where you keep all that so you have more place, but you have to admit that it's TOO MUCH. First thing you have to do is pick things that are too old. You have to throw that away. You have that mascara for over a year? That's not good, throw it away! You got that lipstick for your birthday FIVE years ago?? Ok, that's not good either - TRASH! So, it's already much better when you did that, don't you agree?

2. Second step is to find make up that you got or bought recently but used it only once or never. Put it in a box and sell it, give it to someone or maybe do a swap with a friend! Whatever you choose, you will earn some money, or make someone happy, or get some new things you will use. Isn't that good?

3. Now when you have only make up that you love and use in your drawer or on your desk, it's time to organize it. I like to organize it by type and I think that's the simplest way. So, hair products here, mascaras there, lipglosses here.. I think you understand what I want to say!

And that's it! You will never have a problem with finding that eye pencil you love the most!
Now we only have to keep it that way!

Randomness Wednesday: Paris!

Last year at this same time I was in Paris, city of love, on my honeymoon.
We rented a small studio in the center, so we immediately felt like we are really living there. We did not have much time to see all these beautiful sights, so we started exploring right away!

First on the list was the Eiffel Tower. Line was not so long as we expected, so we quickly found ourselves in an elevator that has led us to the top of Paris. For people who are afraid of heights, it might look a little scary, but when you see that view, all fear stops.

In front of Notre Dame there bunch of tourists of all races and nationalities. We joined them in watching the true Gothic masterpieces. In the streets around Notre Dame, there are many souvenir shops where you'll find magnets, key rings, t-shirts, paintings of Paris and everything else that comes to your mind. I love souvenirs so I bought bunch of things.

After sightseeing, we walked a bit along the river, waving at the tourist boats, and then we moved to the other side of river to visit something a little more modern - Georges Pompidou Centre. My husband was thrilled with the variety of pipes that have surrounded the building, and I liked the atmosphere around it.

And then the Louvre, one of the largest museums in the world. Since we didn't have much time, we decided to rescheduled our coffee with Mona Lisa for some other time! But, Louvre is really spectacular!

We also walked down Avenue des Champs-Élysées, where I grazed my eyes on the jewels, perfumes, expensive fashion brands, while my husband rolled his eyes. He was much happier in the Latin quarter, where he did not know what food to try first. Every part of Paris really is engraved in our hearts, but the best and most picturesque part of Paris is Montmartre, home to numerous number of artists. On top of this hill is a beautiful white basilica of Sacré-Coeur on whose steps and lawns tourists rest after a strenuous walk up to Montmartre.

This is only a small part of what we saw in Paris, and I definitely hope that we will again have the opportunity to visit it.
